Ross, who was sporting a stylish and colorful red ensemble, pumped up the crowd and wore his sunglasses at night with a lengthy intro. But when DJ Khaled and Ace Hood hit the stage, things got hot — literally. Fire lit up the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, which was comfortable for Hood, who rapped his portion shirtless.
Of course, Ross wasn’t to be outdone. When the camera flashed back to the frontman, it was revealed that he too had unbuttoned his shirt, like he did on his recent cover issues of VIBE and GQ.
Amidst bleeped-out lyrics, out walked Weezy rocking his signature white tank and flat-billed cap while effortlessly laying out lines — and Nicki Minaj couldn’t be missed bobbing her head along in the crowd.
Before leaving the stage, Ace Hood took the chance to push his new album, ‘Blood, Sweat, & Tears,’ by letting fans know it will drop Aug. 9. ‘Hustle Hard,’ featuring Rick Ross and Lil Wayne, acts as the premiere single from the record.
